ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib b. Rabīʿa b. al-Ḥārith

One of those who passed away in this year was ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib b. Rabīʿa b. al-Ḥārith b. ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib b. Hāshim. This person was among the Companions (ṣaḥāba). He migrated to Syria (Shām), where he had a house, and when he died, he made his bequest to Yazīd, the son of Muʿāwiya, who was the commander of the chronically ill at the time.
