Ahmed b. Muḥammad b. Ismāʿīl b. Ibrāhīm Ṭābāṭabā b. Ismāʿīl b. Ibrāhīm b. Ḥasan b. Ḥasan b. ʿAlī b. Abī Ṭālib al-Sharīf al-Ḥāsanī al-Rassī Abū'l-Qāsim al-Miṣrī. He was a poet. He was the naqīb (head) of the Ṭālibīs in Egypt. One of his poems is as follows:
"A woman said to a breeze of a dream: She visited me and then passed away. For the sake of Allah, describe her attributes; neither understate nor exaggerate.
And I said: I saw her, I wish she had died of thirst, and she said to me: Stop, do not come to this water. The woman said: You spoke truthfully. The loyalty of love and affection is her custom. 'If only the cool water were given to the one who says: O my liver's delight.'
Ahmed b. Muḥammad passed away five days before the end of this year.
