He was an ʿābid (devout worshipper) and zahid (ascetic) person. Ibn al-Jawzī has narrated that he said, "Qudrah (power) is related to impossible things." Then he denied this and apologized, saying that I did not understand what he meant and that he was ignorant.
Faḍl Abū Manṣūr
He was the amīr (commander) of the believers. His laqab (epithet) was al-Mustarshid. Part of his biography has been given on previous pages. Allah knows best.
