Malik Ṣāliḥ Naṣīruddīn Maḥmūd b. Muḥammad b. Karāʾarslān b. Artuk. He was a brave and valiant person who loved the ʿulamāʾ. He was a companion of Ashraf Mūsā b. ʿĀdil. He came to him many times and offered his service. After his death, his son Masʿūd succeeded him. Masʿūd was a miserly and fāsiq (sinful) person. Kāmil caught him and imprisoned him.

Then he released him. He confiscated his property. Masʿūd then went to Tatarstan. Afterwards, Kāmil had him caught and brought back.
