ʿAbdullāh b. Yazīd al-Awsī. This individual participated in the expedition of Ḥudaybiyya.
ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Aswad b. ʿAbd Yaghūth.
ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Zayd b. Khaṭṭāb al-ʿAdawī. He was the son of the brother of ʿUmar (may Allah be pleased with him). He met the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) during his lifetime. He passed away in Medina at about seventy years of age.
ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Ḥassān b. Thābit al-Anṣārī.
ʿAdī b. Ḥātim b. ʿAbd Allāh b. Saʿd b. Imruʾ al-Qays. He was a Companion (ṣaḥābī) of great stature. He lived in Kufa, and later went to Komisya where he continued to reside.
Zayd b. Arqan b. Zayd. He too was a Companion (ṣaḥābī) of great stature.
Among those who passed away this year was also the Qur'an translator ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAbbās. Now, let us present the biography of this eminent Companion (ṣaḥābī).
