These people considered eating heart to be forbidden. When they became Muslims, the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded their delegation to eat heart. Upon his command, heart was roasted and given to their chief, and then he said:
– Your iman (faith) will not be complete until you eat this.
Their chief, his hand trembling, took the heart, ate it, and said:
– I ate the heart unwillingly. When I touched it, my fingers were trembling.
