He was a merchant from Egypt. Indeed, he possessed great wealth. At his death, he had more than ten thousand dinars and other belongings. He passed away in the Hijaz. He was buried in al-Madīna al-Nabawiyya near the grave of Ḥasan. May Allah be pleased with them.
