Abū Isḥāq al-Fazārī. Ibrāhīm b. Muḥammad b. Ḥāris b. Ismāʿīl b. Khārija. He was the leading authority (imam) of the people of Syria in the science of maghāzī (the study of the Prophet's military expeditions). He was also an imam in other sciences. He studied with Sufyān al-Thawrī, al-Awzāʿī, and other scholars. He passed away in this year. There is also a weak report that he died one year earlier.
