He is the son of Izzeddīn Aybak, the master of the Muʿizzīye Palace and the governor of Serhat, who endowed the Berranīye and Jawwāniyatul-Muʿīziyye madrasas, which were endowed for the Hanafīs. He passed away this year and was buried in the cemetery at the foot of Mount Qāsyūn,

under the dome next to Warāqa, beside his father. May Almighty Allah have mercy on both of them.
