Abū ʿAlī Ṣāliḥ b. Mirdās b. ʿIdrīs al-Kilābī. He was the first ruler from the Banū Mirdās tribe in Ḥalab. He took control of this city in the month of Dhū al-Ḥijja in the year 417 AH from the deputy of Zāhir b. Ḥakīm al-ʿUbaydī. Later, a large army came from Egypt and fought against him, killing him in the year 419 AH. Afterwards, his grandson Nasr became the governor.
