She was among the virtuous and distinguished ladies. She belonged to the lineage of the sister of Ṣāḥib al-Maḥẓa (the Possessor of the Essence). She was a devout, taqwā (God-consciousness) embodying woman who secluded herself in her home. It is narrated that she went out of her house only three times.
