Abū Shāma said: In this year, in Baghdad, despite his young age, the author of classified works, Hāfiẓ Abū Bakr Muḥammad ibn Mūsā ibn ʿUthmān ibn Ḥāẓim al-Hamadānī, passed away. He authored al-ʾAjala fī'n-Nasab, al-Nāṣiḥ, al-Mansūkh, and other works. He was born in the year 548 or 549 AH. He died on the twenty-eighth of Jumādā al-ʾAwwal in this year.
