He died in Cairo between the tenth and twentieth of the month of Jamāzī al-Awwal. The funeral prayer was performed on Thursday. This news was conveyed to me by his brother Qāḍī al-quḍāt Taj al-Dīn al-Shāfīn, based on a letter sent by Shaykh Bahāʾ al-Dīn. May Allah have mercy on both of them.
