Hasan b. Hasan b. Ali b. ʿAbbās b. Nobaht Abū Muḥammad al-Nobahtī. He was born in the year 320 AH. He transmitted from Meḥānīlī and others. Berkanī also transmitted from him. He was Shīʿī and Muʿtazilī. However, I have understood that he was a truthful and sincere person. Al-Azharī also transmitted from him and said that he was Rafīḍī and went astray. ʿAkīkī stated that he was poor in the knowledge of ḥadīth and turned to Muʿtazilism. Allah knows best.
