Hülaguhan

He was the son of the Tatar khan and himself ruled the Tatar khanate. The people called him Hülavun. Hülagu was a tyrant, a sinner, and very much a kafir (disbeliever). May Allah curse him. In the East and West, he killed Muslims in numbers known only to the Creator. The Exalted Allah will therefore give him the severest punishment. He did not belong to any religion. Only his wife, Zafer Hatun, had converted to Christianity. He preferred Christians over other people. Since his family was involved with philosophers, philosophers held rank and esteem in his eyes. His sole concern was to secure the administration of his realm, gradually acquire land, and conquer countries. Finally, the Exalted Allah destroyed him in that year. There is also a report that he died in the year 663 AH. When he died, he was buried in the city of Tela. May Allah curse him. After his death, his son Abakahan succeeded him. Abaka was one of ten brothers. The Exalted Allah, free from deficiencies, knows best the truth. Allah is sufficient for us. He is the best disposer of affairs.
