Husayn b. Husayn b. ʿAlī b. Ḥamza al-ʿAlawī al-Ḥusaynī Abū ʿAbdil-lāh al-Aqsāṣī an-Naqīb Quṭbeddīn. Originally from Kūfah. However, he resided in Baghdad. He served as naqīb (a leader of the descendants of the Prophet), then was imprisoned in Kūfah. He was a virtuous, cultured, and poetic person. Ibn Saʿī transmitted many of his poems. May Almighty Allah have mercy on him.
