al-Ḥusayn (may Allah be pleased with him)

In this year, al-Ḥusayn, the son of ʿAlī (may Allah be pleased with them), was killed at Karbala together with more than ten members of his own ahl al-bayt (the family of the Prophet). It has also been reported that the number of those killed alongside him was over twenty. As we have explained in earlier sections, a group of the brave and valiant were also killed along with them.
