He served as a judge in Kerek. He taught at the Zebadānī madrasa. When the endowments (awqāf) of this madrasa were confiscated, he first went to Jerusalem, then to Damascus. In Damascus, he served as deputy judge (qāḍī vekīli). He was a virtuous, pure, chaste, and pious person. May Almighty Allah have mercy on him and be pleased with him.
