Qutb al-Dīn Mūsā b. Aḥmad b. Ḥusayn b. Shaykh al-Sūlamīyah. He was the army minister of Damascus. He possessed great wealth and property. He was a person of virtue, generosity, and charitable disposition, and was a person of superiority among people. He undertook important affairs. In this year, on the second of Dhu al-Ḥijjah, Tuesday, having exceeded seventy years of age, he passed away. He was buried in his tomb built opposite al-Naṣīriyyah in the Qasyūn Cemetery. He is the father of the Hanbalī instructor Shaykh Imam Allāmah ʿIzz al-Dīn Ḥamzah.
