He was the brother of Muʿaẓẓam. He was the emir of Banyās. He took possession of the fortresses in those regions. He was the one who commissioned the Muʿaẓẓamiyya. He was a wise, taciturn person who obeyed his brother Muʿaẓẓam. He was buried next to him. He passed away on the tenth of Ramaḍān, on a Monday, in Bostanetü'n-Naʿīma. This place is affiliated with Lahyā. May Allah forgive him and have mercy upon him.
