Malik Nāṣir al-Dīn Maḥmūd b. ʿIzz al-Dīn Masʿūd b. Nūr al-Dīn Arslān-shāh b. Quṭb al-Dīn Mawdūd b. ʿImād al-Dīn b. Zangī b. Aksungur. He was the governor of Mosul. He was born in the year 613 AH. Badr al-Dīn Lūlū had nominally placed him on the throne. Eventually, he gained strength and his position stabilized. After that, Badr al-Dīn Lūlū kept him under surveillance. To avoid punishment, he did not even engage in sexual relations with any of the concubines or favorites. His food and drink were restricted. When his maternal grandfather and the governor of Erbil, Muzaffar al-Dīn Gök-böri, passed away, Badr al-Dīn Lūlū deprived him of food and drink for thirteen days. Ultimately, he died from hunger and thirst. May Allah have mercy on him. He had a very handsome appearance. He was the last ruler of Mosul from the Atabeg family.
