Malik Saʿīd Ḥasan b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz

Malik Saʿīd Ḥasan b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz b. ʿAdil Abū Bakr b. Ayyūb. After his father, he governed Sabībah and Banyās. Then these two cities were taken from him and he was imprisoned in the fortress of Munīrah. When the Tatars came, he joined them. Afterwards, the Tatars returned their cities to him. When the Battle of ʿAyn Jālūt took place, he was brought as a captive before Muzaffar Qutuz. Muzaffar Qutuz had his neck struck because he had worn the Tatars' headgear and collaborated with them against the Muslims.
