Sherefuddīn Aḥmad b. Fākiḥ Zabīd Abū'l-Ḥusayn b. Manṣūr al-Shammahī al-Mazhijī. He transmitted ḥadīth from the people of Mecca and others. The number of shaykhs from whom he transmitted ḥadīth exceeds 500. He traveled to various regions and performed many good deeds. He attained high ranks in ḥadīth, fiqh, and other sciences. He passed away in the month of Rabīʿ al-Awwal of this year.
