Muhammad b. Ahmad

Muhammad b. Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Jaʿfar b. Muhammad b. Muhammad b. Buhayr Abū ʿAmr al-Muzakkī. He was a ḥāfiẓ of ḥadīth. He was from Nīsābur. He became famous with the laqab Hīrī. He traveled to various countries for the pursuit of knowledge. He was a reliable (thiqah), steadfast (thābit) narrator with sound discussion. He transmitted ḥadīth in Baghdad and other cities. He died at the age of seventy-three in the month of Shaʿbān of this year.
