Muhammad b. Hasan

Muḥammad b. Ḥasan b. ʿAbdallāh b. ʿAlī b. Muḥammad b. ʿAbd al-Malik b. Abīʾsh-Shawārib. Abū'l-Ḥasan al-Qurashī al-Umawī. He was a qāḍī (judge) in Baghdad. He was a person of good character and exerted great effort to collect many ḥadīth. However, it was said that he accepted bribes while serving as an administrator and judge. May Allah have mercy on him.
