Muḥammad b. Ibrāhīm b. ʿUbayd al-Asadī. He was a poet. He met Ḥunayṣī al-Tihānī. The theme of love was always present in his poems. He resided in Yemen and Iraq. Later, he also lived for a while in the Ḥijāz and Khurāsān. One of his poems is as follows:
“I said: Because I came repeatedly, I must have burdened you. He said: With your hands, you pressed down on my shoulders and burdened me. I said: I extended. He said: On the contrary, your departure was prolonged. I said: I tore apart. He said: You tore apart the cords of love.”
