Muhammed b. Muhammed b. Ahmed b. Ḥusayn b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz b. Mihrān al-Akbarī. He heard ḥadīth from Hilāl al-Haffār, Ibn Rizqawayh, Ḥammāmī, and others. He was a virtuous, handsome person who also composed poetry. One of his poems is as follows:
“I contemplate those who have passed away in the past and some who live in our time.
I ponder extensively about them.
They live on after their deaths through their memories.
But we, due to our passivity and timidity, are like the dead while still alive.”
Muhammed b. Muhammed passed away at the age of seventy in the month of Ramaḍān of this year.
