Shaykh ʿImād al-Dīn

Shaykh ʿImād al-Dīn Ibrāhīm b. ʿAlī b. ʿAbdurraḥmān b. ʿAbd al-Munʿim b. Nīmā al-Maqdisī al-Nablusī was affiliated with the Ḥanbalī madhhab (legal school). He was an imam, a scholar, and a devout worshipper. He served as the shaykh of the Ḥanbalīs in Nablus and for a long time also held the position of faqīh (jurist). He passed away in the month of Rabīʿ al-Awwal of this year.
