Shaykh Muwafaq al-Dīn Aḥmad b. Qāsim b. Khalīfa al-Ḥazrajī. He was a physician and was known by the name of Ibn Abī Usaybiʿa. He authored a fine ten-volume work titled Tārīkh al-Aṭibbāʾ (History of the Physicians). This work is endowed as a waqf at the Ibn ʿUrwa mausoleum of the Umayyad Mosque. Having surpassed ninety years of age, he passed away this year in Serhat.
