Sit Hatun Ismetüddin bint Muineddin. Her father Muineddin, as explained in previous sections, was the na'ib (deputy) of Dimashq and also the atabeg of the Dimashq army before Nureddin. Sit Hatun Ismetüddin was the wife of Nureddin. After Nureddin, in the year 572 AH, she married Sultan Salahaddin. Sit Hatun Ismetüddin was a very beautiful, chaste woman who gave much charity. Indeed, in this regard, she was among the foremost women. She was the founder of the Hatuniyye al-Jawaniyya waqf in the Hajar al-Zahab neighborhood. She was also the owner of the Hatun khanqah outside Bab al-Nasr in the Banyas region. When she passed away, she was buried at the foot of Mount Qasiun next to the Serkasiya dome. Adjacent to her tomb are the Dar al-Hadith of Ashrafiyya and Atabegiyya. Besides these, she had many other endowments. Regarding the Hatuniyye al-Barraniyya waqf on the canals in the San'a al-Sham neighborhood, this place was built by Zümrüt Hatun, the daughter of Chavlu. Sit Zümrüt Hatun was the elder sister of Malik Dokniak. Zümrüt Hatun was the wife of Zengi, the father of Nureddin Mahmud, the governor of Aleppo. As explained in previous sections, she died before this date.
