The Historian Shams al-Din

Shams al-Din Muhammad b. Ibrahim al-Jazwī. He compiled a history containing valuable information. Scholars such as al-Dhahabī and Barsalī benefited from this history and made citations from it. He lived to an advanced age, and his hearing became impaired. He was a contemporary of Shaykh Nāṣir al-Dīn Muhammad and Muʿtadid al-Dīn.
