Yaʿqūb b. Isḥāq b. Nahbe Abū Yūsuf al-Wāsiṭī. He listened to hadith from Yazīd b. Hārūn. He came to Baghdad. There, he transmitted four hadith. He promised the people that he would recite hadith to them the next day, but that night he passed away at the age of 112.
According to what al-Dhahabī relates, Walīd Abū ʿUbāda al-Bukhturī is also among the famous figures who died in this year. We mentioned this person when discussing the events of the year 283 AH. Likewise, Ibn al-Jawzī also reported his death in this way. Allah knows best the truth of the matter.
