ʿAbd al-Bāsit refers to those whom Allah has granted expansiveness in creation. Thus, by His permission, He sends them a portion from their own nafs (the lower self) and wealth that brings them joy and relief. This state is in accordance with Allah's command, for the servant is expanded through the manifestation of the Name al-Bāsit, and in this state, he does not act contrary to Allah's religion. (Kāshānī, 112; Jāmiʿ, 8)
'ʿAbd al-Baṣīr and ʿAbd al-Samīʿ: ʿAbd al-Samīʿ and ʿAbd al-Baṣīr are those upon whom the manifestations of these two Names have appeared. Such a person is characterized by the hearing and seeing of the Real (al-Ḥaqq). As the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I become his hearing with which he hears and his sight with which he sees." In this way, he hears with the hearing of the Real and sees with the seeing of the Real. (Kāshānī, 113; Jāmiʿ, 8)
