ʿAbd al-Mājid is, like ʿAbd al-Majīd, one whom Allah has honored with His own attributes and has granted what is within their capacity, raising them to a strength capable of bearing His exaltedness and honor. (Kāshānī, 121; Jāmiʿ, 11)
ʿAbd al-Māniʿ (see also: Shllar): ʿAbd al-Māniʿ is one whom Allah protects and watches over from everything that contains corruption, even if that person loves and desires things such as wealth, status, health, etc., thinking there is good in them. Allah has made him witness the meaning of the following verse: "But perhaps you dislike a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you." (al-Baqara 2:216). In this regard, there are also sacred hadiths: "Among My servants are those whom I have left poor; had I made them rich, it would have been evil for them. Among My servants are those who are ill; had I granted them health, it would have been evil for them. I know best the affairs of My servants and arrange them as I will. In My management, there is not the slightest error."
The one who manifests this Name is protected from harmful things and corruption. Even if they think that what they are prevented from is good and beneficial for them, Allah, through this, removes harm and corruption from them. (Kāshānī, 128; Jāmiʿ, 13)
