ʿAbd al-Matīn is such firmness in religion that it is not affected by one who seeks to cast doubts (waswasa). It is firmer and more intense than any other firmness, and because of this, there is no one who can prevent it from God (Allah). ʿAbd al-Qawī influences everything, whereas ʿAbd al-Matīn is not influenced by anything. (Kāshānī, 119; Jāmiʿ, 10)
ʿAbd al-Muʾakhkhir (Pre) ʿAbd al-Muʾakhkhir is the one whom Allah, regarding every excessive act that transgresses limits, causes to be delayed (taʾkhīr) upon which he is found. He also delays every wrongdoer (ẓālim) with this name. With this name, He returns them to the limit, and prevents every act of injustice, rebellion, and every deed that requires delay. Allah brings these limits together for people. (Kāshānī, 122; Jāmiʿ, 11)
ʿAbd al-Mughīth / ʿAbd al-Muqīt
ʿAbd al-Mughīth is the one whom Allah makes aware of the need, its measure, and its time of the needy, and enables him to fulfill this need in accordance with this knowledge, neither lacking nor exceeding. This fulfillment of need does not occur before its time nor after (it happens exactly at the right time). (Kāshānī, 116)
