ʿAyn al-yaqīn

ʿAynu’llāh–ʿayn al-ʿālam (Aynullah and the eye of the world) refers to the barzakh (the isthmus) whose reality is realized in the insān al-kāmil (the Perfect Human). For Allah regards the world through his gaze and shows mercy to existence through him. As it is said: "If not for you, I would not have created the spheres." Furthermore, aynullah is the one who is the locus of manifestation (maẓhar) of Allah’s Name al-Baṣīr (the All-Seeing). For, in the world, he looks at everything through this Name.
