Cennet-i ef'âl (the paradise of acts) is the paradise of deeds, consisting of delightful foods, sweet drinks, and beautiful spouses as a reward for righteous actions. It is a sensory (external) paradise. It is also called cennet-i aʿmāl (the paradise of deeds) and cennet-i nefs (the paradise of the nafs, i.e., the lower self). (Kāshānī, 41; Jāmiʿ, 80)
