Cihetān-ı ṭaleb (the two directions of seeking) refers to the aspects of wujūb (necessity) and imkān (possibility) (necessary and possible beings). These seek the names of rubūbiyya (divine lordship) whose manifestations are the aʿyān-i thābita (immutable archetypes). The seeking of the aʿyān (the essences) itself is the rank of Taʿayyun-i Awwal (the First Determination). The manifestation of this rank through the names is the appearance of rubūbiyya in its own affairs in response to the desire of the Lord for the rank of Taʿayyun-i Awwal. (Kāshānī, 42; Jāmiʿ, 80)
cilā – isticlā — (see also) Cilā is the manifestation of the Eternal Essence (Dhāt) for Itself within Itself; isticlā, on the other hand, is Its manifestation in the ranks of determination for Itself. (Kāshānī, 39; Jāmiʿ, 80)
