Junaydiyya (the Junaydis) are those affiliated with Abū'l-Qāsim Junayd Muḥammad and who refer to him as Ṭāwūs al-ʿUlamāʾ (the Peacock of the Scholars). He was the master of this group and, in contrast to the Tayfūriyya who emphasized sukr (spiritual intoxication), he was the imam of imams who established the principles of the path of ṣaḥw (spiritual sobriety).
