Because it contains {these things}, it is the Mighty Qur'an. Since it encompasses both blessing and punishment, it is the Umm al-Kitāb (Mother of the Book). One side is connected to divine realities, and the other side to human realities. Its middle, being optional, benefits from both. The first introduction is related to the heavens, the second to the earth. Their rābiṭa (spiritual connection) is related to air. (Letāʾif, 95)
