Every locus of manifestation (tajallīgāh) in which God (al-Ḥaqq) has placed you, and to the knowledge of which He has made you privy regarding the spirits (arwāḥ) and bodies (ajsām). The knowledge related to bodies also concerns whether they are simple or composite (pure or compound), and pertains to their states of union (ittiṣāl) and separation (infiṣāl). (al-Futūḥāt, I, 72)
