In every locus of manifestation where Allah has placed you, you attain maʿrifa (gnosis, experiential knowledge of God) by virtue of His names such as the All-Knowing (ʿAlīm), the All-Powerful (Qadīr), the Willer (Murīd), the Ever-Living (Ḥayy), and others. (Futūḥāt, I, 72)
