ḥaqīqat-i rabbāniyya (Divine Reality)

The one who perceives the spiritual subtlety (rūḥānī laṭīfa) at the center of the mirror of prophethood, and what is manifest is the ḥaqīqat-i rabbāniyya (divine reality). Its lights are reflected into the qalb (the heart) of the walī (friend of God). For this reason, it emerges in the form of the Prophet. It does not abrogate the sharia (the sacred law) or replace it with something else. It does not seek any payment for its instruction. However, since it gives to us without acquisition, it is correct that it bequeaths the Book as an inheritance. Every inheritor is chosen; those other than him are at the boundary. (Letāʾif, 52)
