Existence is like the dust (hebā) in the air. For it is something that exists when it did not exist before, and disappears even while it exists. When sunlight enters through the window, the dust in the air becomes visible. When the sunlight withdraws, not a trace of the dust remains. The Hazrat-i Muhammadiyya in existence is likewise. (Nafahāt, 51)
