If a person causes doubt in a certain matter, they do not accept that thing because they know it is possible. If you say something to them about that matter, they say, "Necessary knowledge is not reproached or condemned." There are many examples of this. (Futūḥāt, II, 157)
The People of taqlid (those who follow imitation, imitators) are divided into three groups: those who imitate their ancestors, those who imitate their scholars, and those who imitate the prophets. All that these (those who imitate the prophets) know is based on reports transmitted from the prophets. (Rawḍa, 438)
