It is to unite by bringing into equilibrium.
In practical dealings, ināba (turning in repentance to God), is when the nafs (the lower self) turns towards the qalb (the heart) so that the heart, illuminated by its light, finds tranquility in the presence (of God). In character, ināba is to show sabr (patient endurance) in obedience and submission of the heart as it ascends towards the Lord, and to be wholeheartedly content and at peace with this outcome.
The foundational principle of ināba in the spiritual path is the firmness of resolve, the strength of will, and the spirit of intimacy.
