In the detailed exposition (tafsīl) of realities, kemāl-i asmāʾ (perfection of the Divine Names) is the manifestation of the Essence (al-Dhāt) for itself, in terms of the totality and aspects of the names. It is a universal entity that actually gathers its particulars, and that is the insān al-kāmil (the Perfect Human). For this reason, it has been referred to as the archetype (nuskha), shadow (ẓill), and exemplar (mithāl). Although the Essence is unique, many names have been given to this self-determination; the world (ʿālam).
