lamış and His Manifestness (Tasawwuf Glossary)

He is characterized by this attribute. For this reason, He invites people to outward perfections and to adorn themselves with them. He has preferred tashbīh (affirming similarity) over tanzīh (declaring transcendence). The five invitations of Prophet Mūsā (peace be upon him) were also of this kind. Therefore, He promised people paradises and physical pleasures and delights, and enlarged the volume of the Torah, which was written in gold. (Kāshānī, 123; Jāmiʿ, 11)
