Lezzât-ı bâtıne (inner pleasures) are superior to material pleasures. These are found not only in intelligent beings such as humans, but also in mute animals. For example, some hunting dogs hunt while hungry. Afterwards, they catch their prey for their owner, and often bring it to him.
