Lübs (to wear) is the material form that has donned spiritual ḥaqīqa (inner realities). Allah the Exalted has said: "If We had made the Prophet an angel, We would have certainly made him [assume] the form of a man, and We would have caused them the same confusion they are [already] in." (al-Anʿām 6:9). Lübs is also used in the sense of clothing human forms with the realities pertaining to the Truth (al-Ḥaqq). Indeed, the sacred hadith, "Under My domes are saints (awliyāʾ) whom none knows but Me" (k.y.), alludes to this. (Kāshānī, 72; Jāmiʿ, 94)
